Cost: $150 ($250 for both Saturday and Sundays Clinic)
Spectator fee: $20 (17 and under free)
Lunch provided for all participants and spectators.

This class is all about learning the essential building blocks of good horsemanship. The morning portion is on the ground and the afternoon on horseback. You will learn how to do the basics with excellence. Get your foundation right and the fancy stuff will follow.

Often times people ask about how to fix this thing or that thing with a horse...but the real answer is to build a better foundation in there from the start. This starts on the ground of course and it’s all about learning how to direct the feet through feel.

There are many things I’d like to see people accomplish - but my goal is to help every student find what they and their horse need in that moment in time to build their partnership...rather than just to go through a series of predetermined drills. This is why each clinic is different and offers unique challenges and opportunities for everyone to benefit.

This class is suitable for the advancing rider comfortable with basics but in search of continued work. Emphasis is placed on working in the snaffle bit - first stage in developing the versatile “Bridle horse”. All maneuvers will stress the Vaquero style of riding. A variety of obstacles and challenges may also be presented. All levels of riders - no matter what discipline - will benefit.
