This clinic will help any level of rider how to become safer and be in better control of their horse. It will help you learn how to prepare your horse for anything you might encounter in the round pen, arena, pasture or on the trail.
We will focus on developing a solid riding foundation based on the ability to direct our horses feet, make smooth upwards and downwards transitions smooth, control the hindquarters and shoulders, and developing lateral work. Next, we will work on step-by-step approaches to natural and man made obstacles (such as gates, bridges etc), controlling spooking, how to deal with herd bound and buddy sour horses, other trail riding problems and distractions and how to build good trail riding habits and skills.
Class Fee: $150 per person
