Horses have a strong sense of self-preservation. That's what has allowed them to be here today. Perception is reality for horses and anytime they perceive a threat, their natural instinct is to escape the danger. This can be very dangerous to both the horse and rider. 

The goal of this clinic is to help the horse and rider to reinforce trust in each other and their ability to handle anything that comes along. As a rider you will learn to be proactive, attentive, how to direct your horses feet and help him through his fear and teach him that spooking isn't necessary.
